I believe this to be our William...
Qld Death Cert no. 1938/C3466 states that the death of William KELLY was registered in Queensland, in 1938. His father's name was recorded as Edward KELLY and his mother's name was recorded as Margaret KELLY (nee Pacey).

"Death of Mr W. J. Kelly - Owner of Banksia Station.
The death occurred in a private hospital in Rockhampton yesterday morning of Mr William Joseph Kelly, owner of Banksia Station, near Torilla, at the age of 69.
Deceased was a member of a pioneering family which arrived at Gracemere with the Archers in 1830. He was born at Gracemere in 1809, his father, Mr Edward (Howard?) Kelly, being overseer of Gracemere station. The father died in 1870. After a residence at Gracemere for many years, Mr Kelly, about 35 years ago, acquired Banksia station.
Deceased is survived by a widow, four daughters (Mrs A. Halberstater, Doreen, St Lawrence, and Misses Constance Mary, Ellen Margaret, and Mary Gertrude) and two sons (Messrs Mark Thomas and Frank Edward).
The funeral will leave St Joseph's Cathedral at 11 o'clock this morning for the Rockhampton cemetery."
