"DIGAN—At her residence, Bathurst-street West, Mary, widow of the late Patrick Digan, architect, granddaughter of the late John McNamara, M.D., of O'Genelo, County of Clare, Ireland, aged 66 years ; leaving a large family to deplore their loss."

Mrs Mary Scott, was the daughter of Patrick Digan of Killaloe, County Clare, Ireland and granddaughter of Dr John McNamara of Ogunalo, also of Ireland.

NSW Death Cert No. 9254/1901 states that the death of Mary J SCOTT was registered in the district of Glebe, Sydney NSW, in 1901. Her father's name was recorded as James xxxx and her mother's name was recorded as Mary xxxx.

The Ryerson Index has a death notice entry for Mary SCOTT stating that she died on the 26th August, 1901, at Forest Lodge, aged 75 years old. This notice was published in the Sydney Morning Herald on the 26th August, 1901.

Last week we chronicled the death of Mrs. Mary Scott, of Glebe. The funeral was largely attended Mrs. Scott, who was the daughter of Mr. Patrick Digan, of Killaloe, and a grand daughter of the late Dr. John M'Namura O'Gunolo, was widely respected.
