The Ryerson Index has a death notice entry for Mary SCOTT stating that she died on the 26th August, 1901, at Forest Lodge, aged 75 years old. This notice was published in the Sydney Morning Herald on the 26th August, 1901.

Last week we chronicled the death of Mrs. Mary Scott, of Glebe. The funeral was largely attended Mrs. Scott, who was the daughter of Mr. Patrick Digan, of Killaloe, and a grand daughter of the late Dr. John M'Namura O'Gunolo, was widely respected.
