John HEALY, aged 69, was buried in South Rockhampton Cemetery in the Roman Catholic section, location 33 3372, on the 5th August 1909. Having died of what the doctor said 'Cancer', and listed 'Gentleman' as occupation.

Mary was born in Tipperary, Ireland in 1847 according to her death certificate, but that would have made her 12 at the time of her marriage in 1859. Her age upon arrival in Queensland in 1880 was stated as 40.
I believe that her birth date to be in c1840.

Death: Qld Death Cert No. 1888/C003819. states that, in 1888, Mary HEALY (nee Dwyer) died in Queensland. Her father was Michael DWYER who was a farmer and her mother's name was not recorded.

"LATE MR. J. HEALY - Old Rockhampton Resident
The late Mr. John Healy, who passed away on Wednesday last at his residence, "Tara," West-street, was an old Rockhampton resident.
Born in County Cork, Ireland, in 1862, he arrived in Rockhampton with his, family at the age of 18 years, by the "Windsor Castle." Shortly after landing, he went to Western Queensland, where he joined the Telegraph Department, and was in course of time transferred to Rockhampton.
After the completion of the Westwood-Jericho telephone line, Mr. Healy retired from the Department. He then went into business at the Red Lion Hotel, and later purchased the Dunmore Hotel.
Mr. Healy left a widow and grown up family to mourn their loss.

John HEALY, aged 68, was buried in South Rockhampton Cemetery in the Roman Catholic section, location 27 5789, on the 24th September 1931, having died of what the doctor said 'Morbus cordis', That means no more than heart disease. (Probably used by doctors when they did not know the exact cause of death but were sure it was natural causes. May sometimes mean heart failure.)

Born in Kilworth Cork, Co. Cork, Ireland in c1864. His parents were John Healy and Mary Healy (nee O'Dwyer).

Marriage certificate says that he was 22 in 12-Aug-1889 i.e.1867
Born in Mitchellstown, (or Mitchell) Cork, Ireland - recorded on daughter's (Catherine) birth certificate but other childrens certificates infer that he was born in Cork, Co Cork, yet still other children make no reference to their father's birth place at all.
