"PRESIDENT of Waverley College Old Boys' Union, John Hickey, will wed Patricia O'Kane, ex- student of St. Vincent's, Potts Point, on Tuesday, November 8, at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Rose Bay. Reception will be held at the Royal Sydney Golf Club. Patricia's sister, Mrs. J. M. Sullivan, of 'S'Antoine,' Cassilis, and Miss Dorothy Porter, of Newcastle, will attend her, and John will be attended by Messrs. E, Baulman and Richard Bracken. Mrs. Sullivan and Patricia's other sister, Mrs. J. P. Hegarty, of 'Belvedere,' Cassilis, arrived this week for the round of pre-weddlng parties. These include a party given by Mrs. John Hickey, a luncheon given yesterday at Prince's by Mrs. John O'Kane, a cocktail party on November 6 hostessed by Mrs. M. Magulre, of Double Bay, and a party this week-end by Dorothy Porter and Patricia's sisters. Patricia is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. O'Kane, of Rose Bay, and John is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hickey, of Bondi.

"At St. Mary Magdalene's Church, Rose Bay, the Very Rev. Monsignor R. J. O'Regan, P.P., officiated at the marriage of Patricia, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. O'Kane, of Rose Bay, and John, only son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hickey, of Bondi. The bride's sister, Mrs. J. M. Sullivan, of "S' Antoine," Cassilis, was matron of honor, and Miss Dorothy Porter, of Newcastle, was bridesmaid.
Messrs. Edward. Baulman and Richard Bracker attended the bridegroom, who is president of Waverley Christian Brothers' Old Boys' Union.
Reception was held at the Royal Sydney Golf Club."
