"HICKEY—FOLEY.
A wedding of interest was celebrated at St. Patrick's Church, Kogarah, on July 29, when Anne Theresa, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Foley, of Kogarah, was married to Horace Hickey, third son of Mr. and Mrs. D. Hickey, of Randwick.
Rev. Father McCarthy officiated, and the bride was led to the altar by her father. She wore a long, trained gown of parchment angel skin lace with shoes to watch, and a beautiful imported veil of honiton and Brussels net, lent by Mrs. G H. Sutherland, of Croydon. She was attended by Miss Lilian Cullinan, who wore a frock of petal rose nuance crinkle crepe. Mr. Errol Hickey, brother ol the bridegroom, was best man, and the wedding march was played by Mrs. Adrian Hickey, while Miss Mary Wilson sang an 'Ave Maria.'
After the ceremony the bride's mother, assisted by the mother of the bridegroom, received the guests at the home of the bride's parents. The bride is assistant secretary and one of the foundation members of Sydney Telephone Swimming Club, and for a number of years was associated with the Telephone Officers' Association as hon. treasurer.
Mr. and Mrs. Hickey will take up residence at Holgate, Gosford."
