Henry's father was Charles George Ludwig Jung and his mother was Frances Mary Theresa Scott.  His maternal grandparents were Michael Scott and Mary Digan. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Charles, Peter, Peter, Mary, Edith, Elizabeth and Mary.  He was the third oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 75 in 1958 in Gosford district, NSW.²
