Dympna Louisa Conmee, aka Kinchington, was born on the 30 Mar 1895 in Rockhampton, QLD to Norah Ellen Frances Conmee (1866-1957) and Louis Halberstaedter (1866-1942).
On her birth certificate it lists Patrick Joseph Conmee as her father but as has been discovered her mother Norah was actually seperated from Patrick at the time and was residing with Mr. Haberstaedter a Master Butcher from Mount Morgan, QLD. (reference - Collins Family Tree )
Qld Birth Cert No. 1895/C10439 states that the birth was registered in Queensland of Louisa Dympna Kathleen CONMEE in 1895. Her father’s name is listed as Patrick Joseph CONMEE and her mother’s name as Nellie CONMEE (nee Scanlan).

"She is remembered fondly by her grandchildren as "a quiet and refined person, prim and proper, who was always fashionably well dressed". Dympna, who made a mean Christmas Cake; loved family gatherings, puzzles, board games and knitting. She was particularly close to her half sister, Marie Kinchington - they were soul mates who spent considerable time together in latter years. She never complained or criticised anyone and was a much loved, admired and respected family member." (Collins Family Tree).

'Hickey. - Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. DYMPNA Hickey, of Belrose, will be celebrated in The Holy Name of Mary Church, Villa Maria, Mary Church, Hunters Hill, on Tuesday (March 10, 1992), Commencing at 10.30 a.m.
The funeral will leave the church at the conclusion of Mass for Northern Suburbs Cemetery.

General Notes
Dympna met John Hickey sometime between 1915 and 1919, before marrying him on the 20 Dec 1919 at Waverley, NSW.
Dympna was a keen society lady with a busy social life, who along with John loved to spend an afternoon at the Randwick Races. Both were members of the Tatterstalls Club, where John was the Treasurer and President for many years.
Dympna and John had the following children:
- Dympna Mary Hickey (1920-2009) a talented pianist and music teacher, who married Brian Joseph Whelan in 1942 at Waverley, and
- John Hickey (1922-1998).
