  1.  There appears to be some conflict in Samuel's actual name.  A researcher (Judy Lynn) from the Pottsville, Pennsylvania area did a "look up" for a researcher seeking information on Maria Podesta.  According to this Judy Lynn, she found the Schuylkill County Marriage License of Maria Podesta - "the one who immigrated by herself at age 15".

        Resides in Mechanicsville (outside Pottsville)
        No prior marriage
        No blood relationship to groom.
        Consent of mother, Maria Podesta, of Mechanicsville, given on 9 Aug 1910
        Married by Rev. Michael A. Crane on 18 Aug 1910 in Port Carbon to: Sam Potts, b. Italy on ___ Sep 1885; resides Mechanicsville, a laborer, no prior marriage.
  
      In a telephone conversation October 27, 2011 between Violet (Schembri) Buchanan and Mary Ann (St. Stevens Church, Pottsville, Pennsylvania, Violet was told that the marriage record showed that Maria was married to "Sam Spinelli" and that the witnesses were Emedio Picconi and Rosario Sanani.  The 1920 United States Census for Mechanicsville, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania shows the name as Samuel Penilie.
