      Judge's Golden Wedding.
Married at Neston Parish Church by the Rev. H Kempelton on Aug 25th 1885, Mr and Mrs James Judge, of 67 Derby Road, Higher Tranmere, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on Sunday.
Mr Judge is a native of Cavan, Ireland, where he was educated. For some years after leaving school, he did farm work, his parents being farmers, but when he was twenty years of age he came over to Birkenhead. Here he joined the staff of the General Post Office and worked at both the Rock Ferry and Birkenhead offices for a total of forty years. He retired practically twenty years ago and during these latter years his great interest has been gardening.
Mrs Judge, formerly Miss Ellen Ann Timmis, was born in Neston where she lived until the time of her marriage. Mr and Mrs Judge have lived in Rock Ferry and Birkenhead. They are members of St Michaels Church.
They have two sons, four daughters and one grandson.
