John lived at Peters, Uppermill, Saddleworth, Yorkshire, England.  The was there in 1841 and for all the childrens baptisma after 1824, but had died by 1851, leaving the remaining family still at Peters. 1884 Benjamin Hilton 1881 Mary Ann Percival Mary Ann was the daughter of Eli Percival, one month ond on the 1881 census.

There are no marriage records between 1780 and 1810 of Henry Buckley to an Elizabeth or Eliza. There is a Rochdale marriage in 1810 to Betty Lee. Therefore it seems the baptisms for Henry and Eliza at Holbeck are the same family (But no DNA match to tree owners of these 5 Buckleys). 1740 - 1790 Mary Lawton 50 50 1821 Daniel (Dan) Carter Daniel may have been adopted by his uncle, as there is a baptism showing his parents as Mary and Sarah Carter.

In 1851, Benjamin (18, nephew) was living with his uncle William Buckley at New Barn, Delph.

4 Sep 1854, Benjamin Buckley (21), mechanic, son of Edmund Buckley a Manufacturer married Ann Bucklety (21), daughter of Philip Buckley at Rochdale St Chad.

In 1861, Benjamin and Ann Buckley (28 & 27) were at Turney Bank (next to New Barn), Delph with Edmund, Hannah and Henry (6, 4, 1)

In 1841, Philip & Joanna (30 & 31) were at Cotemans with three children Ann, Betty and Chhn (8, 6 & 1). Also there was Ann (65) and Lucy (20).  Neighbours at Coteman Height were two families: John and Mary Buckley (65 & 59) and John (65) with 9 others.

In 1911, Fren and Mary Ellen (both 32) were at Dobcross with Beatrice Ellen (6). 1904 - 1994 Beatrice Ellen Schofield 89 89 Susan Hindler is granddaughter of Beatrice Schofield.  She is a probable Saddleworth DNA connection sharing 14 cM.  We have shared DNA matches with geoffrey carter and  gail_alguire.
