In May-June 1860, Benjamin (pilot) and Catherine Bennett (both 59) and their daughter Elizabeth (20) sailed on the William Tapscott (Packet Ship) from Liverpool to NY.  The journey for the three cost £18. 0s 3d.  The US 1860 Census recorded the three at Douglas, Nebraska Territory.

A news report has them arriving in Utah 5 Oct 1860.

Benjamin was active in Church work.  He died at Holden, Utah, 20 Feb 1880.
1792 - 1860 Catherine Jones 67 67 Death record shows Catherine was the daughter of John Jones and she was born at Wepre, Northop, Flintshire.
