Elizabeth Skirrow
Elizabeth was born in 1759 in Cottingley and her baptism took place on December 21st, 1759 at All Saints (Bingley).^2 1

    Possibly born in Birstall, and living at Bingley at time of Marriage in 1778.  However, William's baptism shows mother as "Elizabeth of Cottingley".
    
    When Isaac died in 1813, his will showed he had property (two cottages) in Cottingly.

She died at the age of 46 in August 1805 in Allerton.  Her burial was on September 1st, 1805 at All Saints (Bingley).^1 3

  • Isaac makes no provision or mention for his wife in his will (made on 26-Feb-1810), so it must be assumed that Elizabeth died before him, probably soon after the birth of William as there are no more children.
