William was born in 1876 in Little Bolton.1 William's father was Henry Woodward and his mother was Elizabeth (Betsy) Mather. His maternal grandparents were William Mather and Esther Dewhurst. He had a brother named John. He was the older of the two known children. He died in Wisconsin (WI).-
