General Notes
John was probably married before he married Isalella late in life. brother Jeffery married at Deane, so would expect the same for John. Also, Betty Mather was buried at Westhoughton in 1835, just before John remarried Oct 1839. This all points towards the marriage of John and Betty Woodward.
