WARNING: There may be two merged families here, with two James Henry Mathers. Some things don't fit. Missing census records. No death record for Martha (unless Newton le Willows) etc.
In 1858, Martha Williamson married James H Mather.
Martha Mather, born Knutsford 1829, is on the 1861 census with husband James H Mather and son John W (age 1).
Martha may have died, as James later married Ann Yates. However, there appears to be no death record, so perhaps she left him.
In 1863, Son Henry's parents were Mather and BROOM, but they appear to be unmarried.
Another Henry Mather was living with his mother Martha in 1911. This is probably another Henry son of Henry and Martha from Salford. This Henry was 4y older than his wife.
Martha and James were married in a civil ceremony in December 1858 in Bolton.2

On the 1881 census, birthplace: "Lancashire, Ashton" has been heavily over-written with Ireland. This may be a correction error, as the following Nuttall family at No. 58 Moor Lane are from Ireland. However, her brother Henry was also born in Dublin.
The 1911 census revales Ellen's birthplace: Arklow, Wicklow, Ireland
