Sarah, also known as Sally, eg when Edwin was born (and Sarah again when he was buried).
In 1843, Sarah had twins John and Joseph at Western Bolton. Both died as infants at or soon after their birth. Sarah sppears to have survived, although quite old to be having children.

Sally and James were married in a religious ceremony on June 3rd, 1819 in Manchester by Joseph Brooks and witnessed by Robert Hilton & Robert Booth.2 They had seven sons and four daughters, named Henry, Edwin, James, Abraham, Samuel, John, Joseph, Ann, Elizabeth, Catherine and Mary. John and Joseph were twins. Elizabeth and Catherine were twins.
