John Thornley

John was born about 1730 in Prestwich.¹ John is no longer alive.

General Notes
- 1755, John Thornley married Alice Boardman at Deane St Mary.
  
  The following 15 years there were four children of John Thornley (mother not named, assumed to be Alice) baptised at Deane, and living in Halliwell.
  
  It is assumed the other John and Ann Thornley family moved to Little Lever. Bolton baptism records starting 1755 name both parents (John and Ann) and there does no appear to be another John and Ann marriage.
