Robert was born in 1815.  He died at the age of 83 in 1898.

‌Robert and Ellen were married in a religious ceremony on May 2nd, 1835 in Samlesbury.1   They had three sons and two daughters, named Richard, Anthony, Robert, Rachel and Alice.  There are no more children.
