Mary Ann's parents were William Henry Sinker and Mary Ann Clegg. In 1887 they lived at 32 Acton Street, Halliwell when Mary Ann was baptised.
In 1907, after they marredi and when Ernest was baptised, the family had moved down the road to 4 Acton Street.
Edward died young (36) in 1920 so Mary may have re-married. There is a marriage of Mary A Mather to David Lythgoe at St Thomas, Halliwell in 1923 that fits well.
