Benjamin (Ben) Schofield

Benjamin, known as Ben, was born in 1849 in Honley.¹ He died at the age of 82 in October 1931 in Huddersfield.²

General Notes
- 25 June 1870, Benjamin married Emma Stocks. Both were probably illegitimate (as no parents recorded).
  
  In 1871, Emma and Benjamin Schofield were at 235 Berry Brow with 1 week old Annie Schofield. Benjamin was a Joiner and Cabinet Maker.
  
  In 1881 "Ben" and "Jane" (32 & 31) have Annie and Edith with them at Deadmansstone Lane, Almondbury.
  
  In 1891, Benjamin and Emma (42 & 41) are at park Wood End, Almondbury with Annie, Edith, George and grandson Herbert.
  
  In 1901, Benjamin and E (52 & 51) still have George W and Herbert with them.

- From 1871 to after 1881 Ben's occupation was Joiner & Cabinet Maker in Berry Brow.
