Dorothy was born on September 10th, 1826 in Cumberland and her baptism took place on March 25th, 1832 in Cockermouth conducted by Edward Leighton.1  She had six sisters named Deborah, Catherine, Hannah, Fanny, Mary and Elizabeth.  She was fostered by Rev Joseph Mather & Mary Robinson.  Dorothy is no longer alive.
