Thomas was noty the son of John (a farmer) and Elizabeth A, born near Dolgelly, N Wales in 1981. The 1901 record is a better match of age, and he is at the Victoria Barracks in Berkshire.,
In 1904, Gwendolines birth was registeed at Chester, and then the family moved to Minera, Wrexham where JT's birth was registered and where they were in 1911.
In 1911, Thomas (Colliery Timberman) and Sarah (31 & 30) had been married 7 years. They had Gwendoline (6, born Barrow, Cheshire) and John Thomas Roberts (3, born Brymbo). Another child had died.
In 1939, Another Thomas (Colliery Repaireman, Incapacitated, born 1878) and Sarah A (born 7 Nov 1780) were at Trevor, near Ruabon. This can't be the same Sarah.
Thomas and Sarah were married in a religious ceremony in September 1904 in Wrexham.2
