Possibly Agnes Mather (1828-1891) who died is Blackburn Southern, aged 63, although this is more likely another Agnes from Scotland.
Agnes and Robert were married in a civil ceremony on September 15th, 1844 at St. Peter & Paul RC Church (Bolton) by John Dowdall and witnessed by John Rankin; Mary A. Bains.1
