Catherine Murphy

Catherine was born in 1836 in Ireland.¹

Birth Notes
- Aged 33 in 1871, born Ireland

She died at the age of 38 in May 1874 in Surrey. Her burial was on May 11th, 1874 in Surrey.

Death Notes
- I suspect that Catherine is the same as Catherine Mather, buried 11th May 1874, residence, the barracks, Kingston, buried Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, age 38.

General Notes
- In 1862 and later, Margaret lived in Ceylon (i.e. Sri Lanka).
  
  In 1871, Catherine was at Aldershot Barracks, "50th Queens Own Regiment of Infantry" with her children Margaret (9) and Edward (7), both born in Ceylon.
  
  I suspect that Catherine is the same as Catherine Mather, buried 11th May 1874, residence, the barracks, Kingston, buried Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, age 38.
