The Will of Alexander Miller late of 100 Burnt-Ash-Hill Lee in the County of Kent Manager of the Jerusalem Coffee-house in the City of London who died 21 October 1885 at 100 Burnt-Ash-Hill was proved at the Principle Registry by Edward William Lock of Hodderston in the County of Hertford Mercer and Robert Cotton Miller of Upper-Teddington-road Hampton Wick in the County of Middlesex Clerk in the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company the Sons two of the Executors.
The Jerusalem Coffee House in Cowpers Court, Cornhill was said to be the unofficial headquarters for the East India Company. The Jerusalem Tavern is at 55 Britton St, Clerkenwell, London EC1M 5UQ
