General Notes
Benjamin Meadown was the son of George Meadows (1828-1914) and Frances Lowe (1832-1876).
17 Sep 1870, Benjamin married Ann Ferrand at Leigh. They had three children: Margaret (b.1871), Rosanna (b.1873) and Edmund (b.1875) before Ann died in 1880.
In 1882, Benjamin now a widow married Ann Taylor, a 41 year old spinster, although not too old to have a son John Willie Meadows in 1883.
His second wife Ann died in 1915 and Benjamin married a third time. 3 June 1916 he married Janet McBride.
Benjamin and Ann were married in a religious ceremony on August 10th, 1882 in Tyldesley.

John Willie Meadows
John was born on September 11th, 1883 in Tyldesley. He died at the age of 79 on May 13th, 1963 in Southport.
