James was born on February 17th, 1905 in Birkenhead.1   He died at the age of 74 in 1979 in Douglas.1 


James' family with Clara Ashley

‌James and Clara were married in a religious ceremony on August 18th, 1934 in Rhodesia (Zambia).1  They had two sons and a daughter, named Ian, James and Margaret.  There are no more children.
