Nancy Mather

Nancy was born on January 13th, 1791 in Darwen and her baptism took place on February 27th, 1791 at Over Darwen Lower Chapel.¹

Nancy's father was Thomas Mather and her mother was Ellen Chambers. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Will, Henry, John, Thomas, John, Betty, Hannah, Ellen, Molly and Alice. She was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 28 in January 1819 in Bolton. She was buried on January 20th, 1819 at St. Peter's (Bolton).
