Mary Mather

Mary was born in 1830 in Little Hulton.¹

Birth Notes
- Mary was a minor, the daughter of Henry Mather a (Coal) Miner of Little Hulton when she married John Ashton in 1847
  
  She died in Little Hulton in 1848, soon after the birth of her daughter Hannah, aged 18.

She died at the age of 18 in 1848 in Little Hulton.²

- In 1827, Mary, daughter of Henry Mather a (coal) miner married John Ashton when she was only 17 and probably expecting..
  
  In 1848, Mary had a daughter Hannah Ashton. The child survived, but Mary died just 18y old. Its likely Hannah was brought up by her grand-parents.
