John Mather

John was born about 1795 in Deane.¹ John is no longer alive.

General Notes
- 19 Jul 1826, John Mather, a Dyer, married Ann Whittle, a spinster at Deane St Mary. A month later son James was born and baptised at Bolton Bridge Street (Wesleyan), with mother named Nancy.
  
  They may have had a child Samuel in 1828 that died aged 17 weeks. If this is theirs, then John was a Farmer at Little Hilton (mother named Ann).
  
  In 1861, John and Nancy (60 & 56), borth born Bolton, were at Greengate, Salford with no children. John was a Maker-up of Flax Yarn.

- From 1826 John's occupation was Dyer in Deane.
