‌James and Alice were married in a religious ceremony on June 11th, 1797 at St. Peter's (Bolton) by Curate Richard Hewitt and witnessed by John Hornley & William Orrell.3   They were also married in a religious ceremony on October 8th, 1798 at St. Peter's (Bolton) by Curate Richard Hewitt and witnessed by William Orrell and Richard Mangnall.3   They had three sons named Thomas, William and James.  There are no more children.
