26 May 1855, George Mather an engineer, son of James Mather a Tin Plate Worker married Sarah Aston, both from Pennybell, Flintshire.
Between 1856 and 1873, all the children's births were registered in Mold.
In 1871, George and Sarah "Mathers" (39 & 35) were with Margaret Ellen (13), Mary (10), Thomas (9), Sarah (6), George (4), Alfred (2) and Agnes (1).
George died in 1872, and in 1881 widow Sarah Mather (44) was head in Little Bolton with Margaret E (24), Mary (22), Sarah (16), George (15), Alfred (12), Agnes (11) and James (8).
In 1881, George, Engine Driver, was deceased when daughter Margaret Ellen married.
