General Notes
In is assumed the Ann Mather is the Ann Hilton that died in 1875 or 1877, aged 57. This is consistant with her being the daughter of John and Engineer and Betty. However, that Ann was thought to have died at Sharples aged 19.
7 Jan 1873, Ann, daughter of John Mather of Lowton married Henry Hilton of Westleigh, Balcksmith and Widower.
Ann Hilton of Lowton died in 1875 and Ann Hilton of Westleigh died in 1877, both aged 57.
