John was an Attonrey Clerk when he married Margaret Blackley, and Book keeper of Great Bolton when Charles James was baptised.
Adam Lomax, possible relative, was Attorney at Law, near Dunscar Bar, Turton (referenced in James Horrocks of Turton Will of 1836).
John and Margaret were married in a religious ceremony on August 11th, 1805 at St. Peter's (Bolton).1 They had three sons and two daughters, named William, Edward, Charles, Sarah and Mary.
