Ann Mather died in May 1839, aged 42, and was buried at
Rusholme Road Cemetery, Manchester.
The headstone was later removed (1854-57) and the removal records show she was the wife of Joseph Mather of Birkenhead. Sons Joseph and George Robinson were buried with (aged 7mo and 2y)) her in grave 2430..
Ann and Joseph were married in a religious ceremony on September 12th, 1816 in Manchester.2 They had four sons and four daughters, named Thomas, George, Joseph, George, Sarah, Mary, Elizabeth and Anne. There are possibly more children.
