George was 11 in 1841, living with Joseph and Ann Hopley. However, the baptism (abode Bickley) suggests he was the illegitimate son of Mary Hopley, Joseph's younger sister.
In 1851, George (20, relative) was living with William and Mary Ankers with Charles and Willian (8 & 6, and also illegitimate)
George married Jane Lloyd (daughter of Daniel) in 1854 and lived for a while in Handley before moving to Castleton, Lancashire. They then moved to Rochdale where George soon died. They had 7 children before George died aged 44 in Rochdale. Jane went on to marry Ogden Barker in 1885 in Rochdale when she was 53.
