Mary (Martha) Hodkinson

Mary, known as Martha, was born in 1765 in Deane.¹

She died at the age of 21 in June 1786 in Bolton. Her burial was on June 19th, 1786 at St. Peter's (Bolton).²

  There are no Deane or Bolton burials for any Mary Mather 1785-87, and only Martha in Bolton, and this Martha is the wife of Samuel.

General Notes
- Mary Hogkinson married Samuel at Deane. She was buried as Martha Mather, wife of Samuel. However, there are no Lancashire marriages between a Samuel Mather and Martha.
  
  John Hodgskinson (possibly Mary's father) was witness to Samuel's second marriage to Mary Haslam.
