Meadowcroft Heaton was probably the son of John Heaton and Margaret Meadowcroft - TBC. In 1731, Elizabeth Heaton wife of Meadowcroft Heaton, Schoolmaster, was buried at Ringley with most of the other family. Meadowcroft Heaton Yeoman of Harwood, was buried at Ringley in 1760.

1 Dec 1794, Betty was a spinster when she married Thomas Heaton, Widower at St Peter's Bolton.
