Meadowcroft Heaton was probably the son of John Heaton and Margaret Meadowcroft - TBC. In 1731, Elizabeth Heaton wife of Meadowcroft Heaton, Schoolmaster, was buried at Ringley with most of the other family. Meadowcroft Heaton Yeoman of Harwood, was buried at Ringley in 1760.

8 Feb 1780, Thomas Heaton, weaver married Ellen Thornley.
In 1792, Ellen, wife of Thomas Heaton died, aged 40 and two years later thomas, widow, married Betty Mather.
1 Dec 1794, Betty was a spinster when she married Thomas Heaton, Widower at St Peter's Bolton.
In 1841, Thomas Heaton (80, a weaver) was with Helen (75) and son John Heaton (50)
