27 May 1855, Joh Hampson, born in Wigan, married Marina in Stoke-on-Trent, Stadffordshire. He was a (coal?) miner and appears to have moved around a lot!
In 1856-1860, Emma, Martha and John were born with their births registered at Hankey, Satffs. After 1860, the family were were in the UISA.
In 1871, John and Mary A (39 & 33) are at Chesterfield, Derbyshire with Martha (12), John (10), Mary A (8), Margaret (6), Rosa (4), William (1) and Arthur (3mo).
John and Marina were married in a religious ceremony on May 27th, 1855 in Stoke upon Trent by Thomas Jackson and witnessed by James Hall & Maria Davies.1
