Betty and William were married in a religious ceremony on September 6th, 1852 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Bury).3 They had six sons and five daughters, named John, James, William, Alfred, Fred, Ernest, Martha, Sarah, Emma, Alice and Alice. There are no more children.
