15 April 1811, "Peter Smith of this Parish (Farnworth) Shoe Maker & Ellen Grundy of the same spinster were married in this chapel by Banns."
Ellen wife of Peter Smith of Farnworth and Bolton, Shoe maker must have died as he married again in 1819
In 1841, Ellen and Peter Smith Shoe Maker (both 50) are at Prescot, St. Helens. This must be another couple as Peter Smith Shoe maker married Jemima in 1819.
Ellen and Peter were married in a religious ceremony on April 15th, 1811 in Farnworth.2 They had a daughter named Ann. There are no more children.
