2 Feb 1857, Henry Mather (21), a moulder of 51 Cross Lane, Salford married Martha Garey (19) daughter of Joseph Garey a Brickmaker at Manchester Parish Church.

Martha and Henry were married in a religious ceremony on February 2nd, 1857 at Manchester Cathedral.2 They had three sons and five daughters, named William, Richard, Henry, Sarah, Betsy, Martha, Mary and Margaret. There are no more children.
