In 1881, Mary, aged 36, was with John, 40, an Inn Keeper at 75 Railway Street (The Railway Tavern), with Ada Elliott Telford (18) and John Joseph Telford (17), her niece and nephew. Mary seems to have had no children of her own.
Mary and John were married in a religious ceremony on July 27th, 1871 at Manchester Cathedral.2
