- Ronald's parents were Henry Charles Whatling (1892-1936) from Suffolk and Florence Rachel Grand (1891-1977) from Norfolk. I have NO DNA match with any of the 18 tree owners with Ronald in their trees.
  
  In 1939, Ronald Whatling (22, with correct DOB) was a pipe-layer at South Lodge, Erpingham, Norfolk. He was living with Arthur and Hilda Snell (in their 40s)
