Martha Buckley

Martha was born in 1808 in Atherton.¹

Martha's father was Richard Mather and his mother was Elizabeth Buckley. His paternal grandparents were Robert Mather and Jane (Jenny) Sale. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Edward, James, John, Richard, Ann and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the seven children.

General Notes
- Martha was born about 1806, so can't be Richards child. Always shows and Martha, daughter, married, so probably an illegitimate daughter of Elizabeth Buckley before they married in 1824.
