  • 2 Oct 1887, Elizabeth Mather (19), daughter of James Mather married William Brindle (19), son of Ralph at St. John's, Bolton-Le-Moors.
    
    William and Elizabeth had a large family.  There is only one Lancashire BRINDLE+MATHER marriage (in 1887) and 14 births registered, all in Little Bolton.
    
    By 1911, only 7 of 14 their children were alive.
