  Although shown as Great Bolton, William was baptised at Dean and probably born at Shackerley (where other siblings born).  William, son of Ralph of Shackerley died in 1759.  However, this baptism is rather close to daughter Elizabeth, baptised 17 Sep 1752
He died at the age of 78 in April 1830 in Little Bolton.  He was buried on April 14th, 1840 at St. Mary (Deane).³ 
• Death Notes

  There is a record at Bolton archivers pertaining to "Apprenticeship Indenture - William, son of Ralph Mather of Middle Hulton to Thomas Morris of Great Bolton, weaver, date 27 Feb 1764".  This is probably this William (aged 12) and orphaned, so didnt die in 1759.
