Ralph died before 1841, most likely 1836 with probate, leanving Alice to care for their three children. Alice remarried another farmer.
In 1841, Another Ralph and Alice Boardman (41 & 38), a rent collector, were at Guide Lane, Ashton-under-Lyne with William (13), Esther (11), Sarah (9), Thomas (7) and Peter (5). This is another family.
