15 Apr 1884, Ephriam Bennett, an Engineer of 15 Alfred Street, Chorlton-on-Medlock, son of Mark Bennett married Elizabeth Ann Mather of 30 Chorley Street, daughter of John Mather a weaver at St George's, Little Bolton.
Ephriam and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on April 15th, 1884 at St. George (Little Bolton) by Neville Jones and witnessed by John Crankshaw, David Mather, Elizabeth Makin & Mary Alice Crankshaw.2
